I made a soundtrack for “Kanye West—Reanimator” on Spotify. It features everything from classic soul to classic rock, Charles Manson to Ray Charles, and yes, even a bit of Kanye himself (but only a bit). Every song in some way relates to the book. Check it out.

I’m pleased to announce that I’ve announced the impending publication of my book, “Kanye West—Reanimator,” over at LitReactor. It is a reimagining of Lovecraft’s classic tale, “Herbert West—Reanimator,” with everyone’s favorite petulant genius cast in the titular role. My short story “Black Work” is now live at Crack The Spine. It is an exploration of Islamic folklore and the tradition of honor killing. It was inspired by a true story and started out as an attempt at writing “the other,” and when I workshopped it, one person accused me of perpetuating Islamophobic stereotypes. I guess the internet will be the judge.
